If no one has told you lately, I'm here to tell you that you're doing great. You're in the arena, not giving up. Even if it's simply reading this email, you're doing the work. It's important that we take time to remind ourselves that it'll be all right. Sometimes (OK most of the time!) in an effort to motivate you to build the business of your dreams, or to make a particular point, I try to scare or shame you into action. Just ask every major news or entertainment company out there. We do this because it works. But you know what also works? Honesty. And, honestly, you're doing just fine. You're gonna be OK. You might not have time right now to implement the things you know to be a good idea and a worthwhile investment. Yet your awareness and never-ending quest for improvement puts you far ahead of your competitors and some days, most days, it's enough.
