In this wedding industry education blog post, I’m going to give you three of the best reasons why rental decor companies should be using Pinterest to grow their business. Wedding industry pros can use Pinterest to reach their ideal client, whether that’s wedding planners or engaged couples, corporate companies looking to host a meeting, conference or event, or people wanting to throw a party. Pinterest can help you reach the people who need your services an rental decor - from table linens to chairs to displays - the most.
If you’re an event rental and decor company and you’re thinking about getting into Pinterest, you’re going to love these three tips for why your business should be using Pinterest…
Pinterest Is Networking
Pinterest is said to be the perfect platform for introverts because as a content creator, you don’t have to put yourself out there or show your personality. Pinterest is a search engine, it shows people what they want to see (your incredible rentals!) and doesn’t require anything but gorgeous visuals.
You can solve people’s problems and profile your offerings and services on Pinterest very effectively without having to do dances or wax poetic about your business’ “whys.” You can simply show how your rentals and goods look in a venue space and how your process works and be extremely effective on Pinterest.
Your Clients Are Using Pinterest
We’ve all heard that many couples use Pinterest to plan their wedding. And, while that’s a very (very!) important reason to use the platform, Pinterest is also really important because your fellow peers and vendors-frendors are using it too. For rental companies specifically, your business-to-business (or B2B) clients are using the platform - a lot.
Wedding planners and designers use Pinterest to organize ideas, communicate and show their vision to other team members and their clients. If your product offerings are on Pinterest they will be available for planners and designers to use and connect with your rental.
Pinterest is more than connecting directly with the clients. Being on Pinterest is a twofer for rental companies to connect with other wedding industry vendors as well.
You Have The Content
Pinterest is a visual search and discovery platform. And, what do we have lots (and lots!) of in the wedding industry? Visuals! We have gorgeous photography from real weddings and events to styled photo sessions to photos of your rental company’s products and inventory.
There is so much inspirational and helpful content to be found that most rental companies already have in their portfolio. For a rental company to be successful on Pinterest, we’re not talking about creating lots of new content and taking tons of new pictures.
Get your existing content off of your computer and onto Pinterest so that more vendors and clients and find your services. Nothing will book your products faster than a picture of your items in action at a real event in the real world. It instils trust and makes them feel better. Potential clients who are interested in your goods want to see what your products will look like in real life.
