100-ish Word Thought: doing all the things doesn’t equal success
Wherever You Are Is The Most Successful Place To Be
You don’t have to be everywhere to be successful. Let me clarify. Your business doesn't have to be on all the platforms, doing all the things. It's a lie people selling their services are telling you. Because when you believe them, they win. Not you. (My favorite is when they're on Instagram telling you to be on TikTok, but I digress.) Although well-intentioned, marketers are selling tactics based on what works for their business and that's OK for them - just as long as you know their bias.
Only you can decide what works for you. Any solid marketing choice (Note, I said choice b/c it's a choice, unlike peer pressuring people who say you have to do something or you're ruined.) starts with a goal followed by a strategy, not with a checklist of ideas and caption swipe copy. Those are tactics and you can Google that stuff.
You're the business owner, and the goals start with you, wherever you are, on whatever platform works for you. It reminds me of the Pretty Woman line, I say who, I say when, I say how much." Once again, I digress.
