100-ish Word Thought: Inhale the good s***

Who Not To Listen To

When it comes to marketing or business advice, take in what you need and let go of what doesn't serve you. It sounds like simple advice until you're down the rabbit hole, signing up for courses you don't need, throwing nonsense prompts into chatpt hoping for the best, using someone else's marketing calendar and chasing someone else's clients - all at the expense of your own business and self. Stop getting your advice from people who aren’t in your shoes. It's not that you can't get advice from people outside of your market or niche - indeed, there's much we can learn - it's that you need to consider the source and then run it through your own B.S. filter. Don't ever stop being your own gatekeeper. In today's world, the only one looking out for you is you. You are your best guardrails and defense against unhelpful advice and unrealistic tactics that were probably never going to work anyway.
