Do Luxury Clients Use Pinterest + Article on special Events
Do engaged couples planning a high-end, luxury wedding use Pinterest, or is the platform just all DIY engaged couples on a budget? This is one of the most common marketing questions that I get from fellow wedding and event businesses. They are worried about investing time and money into marketing efforts on Pinterest for fear that their ideal clients aren’t using Pinterest to plan their wedding. Maybe they’ve been burned in the past by Pinterest-happy clients or just worried about taking on one more thing in their already busy schedules. Either way, if you have questions or concerns about high-end, luxury clients and engaged couples using Pinterest to find inspiration and ideas (and vendors) for their wedding, you’re in the right spot.
I recently wrote a whole article with my thoughts on the subject of Pinterest and the luxury wedding and event market. I go into all of the reasons how we know that high-end and big budget clients use Pinterest to plan their wedding. So, if you’re a photographer, wedding planner, caterer, DJ, florist or just about any other business serving the wedding and event industry, go check out my article “Debunking the Myth Behind Pinterest & Luxury” over on Special Events.
One of the biggest concerns that most wedding and event businesses have about using Pinterest to market their business and get more clients is they feel that luxury or high end clients do not use Pinterest. I’m here to tell you that this is simply not true. It is a myth that only DIY or low budget engaged couples planning a wedding use Pinterest. In fact, engaged couples in all price points in all regions and locations use Pinterest, even high end clients with large budgets.
